N9K-C9336C-FX2 is a 1RU data center switch with 36 fixed QSFP28 ports for 40G and 100G Ethernet fabric links. The Cisco Nexus 9336C-FX2 runs in NX-OS mode or ACI mode on the fixed N9000 platform, with Layer 2+ operation at the base software level and licensed Layer 3 features available through DCN tiers. Each front-panel port supports breakout for 4x10G or 4x25G connections, while 1G with QSA is limited to ports 7-32. Within the N9300-FX2 family, N9K-C9336C-FX2-E keeps the same 36-port QSFP28 layout and adds 16/32-Gbps Fiber Channel support.
